Waki Capture features

Area or screen. Decide with the shortcut, not a menu.
macOS makes you choose the capture type after you press the shortcut. Waki Capture gives each combination its own shortcut, so the choice is already made when your fingers land.
- Drag to select an areaArea shortcuts show a crosshair; drag over exactly what you want. Esc cancels.
- The display under the pointerScreen shortcuts capture the whole display your pointer is on. No dialog asking which one.
- Four shortcuts, all yours⌃⇧S, ⌃⌥⇧S, ⌃⇧W and ⌃⌥⇧W by default. Change any of them, or run a capture from the window with the play button.
02 / Copy or save
Straight to the clipboard, or straight to a PNG.
Clipboard captures are for pasting into the message you are writing. File captures land as PNGs in a folder you choose, named by date and time, ready to attach.

Open the folder from the app
- Clipboard for the quick pasteCapture, then ⌘V into Slack, Mail or a document. Nothing is saved unless you asked for a file.
- A folder you choosePick any folder for saved PNGs, iCloud or Dropbox included, and open it from Waki Capture with one click.
- Named so you can find themFiles are named with the date and time of the capture, so the Library and Finder sort them for you.

Every capture in a Library. A folder that tidies itself.
Recent shows the newest captures; the Library has all of them, with copy, open, reveal and trash on each. Set how many to keep and for how long, and older screenshots move to the Trash on their own.

- Recent and LibraryEach capture shows its age and size with copy, open, reveal and trash. The Library holds everything the folder contains.
- Keep at most, keep forSet a count limit and an age limit. Beyond them the oldest captures move to the Trash. Tidy now runs the limits immediately, and only screenshot-named files are ever touched.
