Waki Region Share features
01 / Frame & activate
The window is the region.
Put the Waki window over the part of your screen to share and size it by its edges. Activate it: the title bar becomes a slim status strip, a red frame marks the region, and the window slips underneath so the apps you bring in cover it.
Move the region window, resize its boundary, then activate it. The red border marks the region to share through your meeting app.
- Size it like any windowMove and resize by the edges. Whatever the frame encloses is what the meeting sees, at full resolution.
- A frame you cannot missWhile active, a transparent red frame marks the region over your apps and the strip above it shows the size and a Deactivate button.
- Strip, menu bar or ⌃⌥RActivate and deactivate from the strip, the menu bar item (a red dot while active) or the shortcut, in any app.
02 / Present from a region
Bring windows in. Everything else stays private.
Notifications, chat, the other half of your monitor: none of it is shared unless it is inside the frame. Drag a window over the region and a target appears; drop it there and the window is fitted to the region exactly.
Move the window you want to present inside the active region. Keep other windows outside its boundary. Anything visible inside the region may be shared.
- Fit a window to the regionDrop a window on the target at the top of the region and it is resized to fill it (optional; uses Accessibility).
- Move the region mid-callDrag the strip and the frame, the shared window and what your audience sees all follow. Turn this off if you prefer a region that never moves.
- Show or hide the pointerChoose whether your pointer appears in the shared picture.
03 / Share in meetings
Pick one window in your meeting app. That is the whole setup.
Your meeting app does the sharing, as it always has. Waki Region Share simply offers a window named “Waki Region Share – Region Active” that contains exactly the region, so every meeting app gets partial-screen sharing.
In Teams, Zoom or Meet, open the share picker and select the Waki Region Share window. This is an illustrative meeting interface; each meeting app looks different.
